Skoda Kamiq Height Control Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Skoda Kamiq owner experienced issues with the speedometer warning light and erratic low beam alignment, alongside a noticeable height imbalance between the front and rear of the vehicle. The error memory indicated 'height control restricted,' suggesting a potential problem with the leveling sensor. The issue was resolved by replacing a defective control rod on the leveling sensor, restoring normal vehicle operation and eliminating the warning lights.

Air suspension? The Kamiq doesn't have air suspension, it's just standard. Where exactly is the control module for the height adjustment located? And how would I check if it's sending the right signals?

My mistake about the air suspension. I got ahead of myself. I'd still suspect the leveling sensor. If the ride is bumpy, and the height is off, it's the most likely culprit. Without proper diagnostic tools, checking the control module's signals is difficult. It sounds like you're past the point of simple fixes. I'd recommend getting it to a workshop.

Just wanted to say thanks! It was indeed the control rod on the leveling sensor. Replaced it for 110€ and the Kamiq is riding smoothly again. No more warning lights either!

Sounds like a leveling sensor issue. I had a similar problem with my Skoda Kamiq. Is the air suspension working properly? Check the control module. It could be sending incorrect signals.
