Skoda Kamiq NOx Sensor Issue

My 2023 Skoda Kamiq with a gasoline engine is throwing a check engine light. Error memory points to the NOx sensor. I've noticed some exhaust leaking too. Could this be a simple sensor failure or a defective cable connection?

Summary of the thread

A 2023 Skoda Kamiq with a gasoline engine experienced a check engine light, with diagnostics indicating an issue with the NOx sensor. The problem was compounded by an observed exhaust leak. The core issue was identified as a faulty connection to the NOx sensor, which was resolved by repairing the connection.

I also drive a Skoda Kamiq, but I have a diesel engine. Could it be the emission sensor? I had a similar issue a while ago.

Was your issue also related to the exhaust system or catalytic converter? Did you see any exhaust leaking?

Yes, the exhaust system was affected, and the check engine light was on. I suggest visiting a workshop.

Turns out it was indeed a faulty connection to the NOx sensor. 95€ later, all sorted.
