Skoda Kamiq Radio Reception Problems
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Skoda Kamiq is experiencing poor radio reception, with error messages on the infotainment system and occasional audio cutouts. The error memory indicates an issue with the antenna. Possible causes include a defective antenna or poor antenna ground connection. The suggested solution is to inspect and potentially replace the antenna, which was confirmed as the issue and resolved at a workshop.

Antenna ground? Where would I find that? I'm not really a vehicle electronics expert. The error is pretty constant, not just certain areas. Could it be the antenna itself?

Yes, the antenna ground is usually located near the base of the antenna, where it connects to the vehicle body. It ensures proper signal reception. Given that the problem is constant and you have an error code pointing to the antenna, a defective antenna is a likely cause. You probably need to visit a workshop.

Thanks for the info. Took it to the shop, and you were spot on. Defective antenna. Cost me 255€ to get it sorted.

I had a similar issue with my Kamiq's radio. Kept getting a 'No Signal' error. Does it happen all the time, or just in certain areas? Have you checked the antenna ground connection? Poor signal can be caused by radio interference, but it might also be the antenna booster.
