Skoda Karoq Air Conditioning Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Skoda Karoq experienced an air conditioning failure, with an error indicating a fault in the rear ventilation flap. This issue could be caused by a defective cable or plug connection. The suggested solution was to have a workshop inspect the flap actuator and connections, as accessing them can be challenging without proper tools. Ultimately, a loose cable was identified and fixed, resolving the air conditioning problem.

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, the error memory specifically mentions the rear ventilation flap. Where exactly would I find the flap actuator and the relevant plug connection? Is it something I could check myself without special tools?

The flap actuator is buried pretty deep, and honestly, accessing the plug connection can be tricky without the right tools. Given the error code points directly to the rear ventilation flap, and you've already checked the basics, I would recommend having a workshop take a look. It's likely a quick fix, but fiddling with the air distribution system yourself might cause further issues.

It was indeed the rear ventilation flap actuator. The cable was loose. 95€ later and the air conditioning is working perfectly again. Thanks for the help!

I had a similar issue with my Karoq's air conditioning. Is the error message specifically pointing to a flap actuator? Sometimes a faulty connection can cause these kinds of issues. Have you checked the relevant fuses?
