Skoda Karoq Airbag Warning Light Issue

I'm experiencing an issue with my 2020 Skoda Karoq with a Gasoline engine. The airbag warning lamp is illuminated in the speedometer. The car has 117731 km. I suspect it's a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone encountered this before? I'm worried about car safety and potential airbag deployment issues. Is there an airbag recall I should be aware of? It's concerning to see the SRS light on.

I had a similar issue with my Karoq. The SRS light came on intermittently. Have you checked the airbag sensors? It could be a loose connection.

Where exactly did you find the loose connection? Was it difficult to access?

Mine was also a faulty plug connection. No need to panic about airbag deployment. I would suggest taking it to a workshop to have it checked. I wouldn't recommend messing with the airbag system yourself, unless you know what you are doing.

Thank you for the information. I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on! It was indeed a faulty plug connection. The final bill was 95€, a small price to pay for car safety.
