Skoda Karoq Alarm System Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Skoda Karoq owner reported a non-functional alarm system with an error indicating a siren communication fault, suggesting a defective cable or plug connection. The issue was identified as a potential security risk due to the alarm disarm not working correctly. The siren is completely dead. It's throwing an error related to communication fault with the alarm controller. Where exactly did you find the cable issue, and how did you confirm it was the problem?

Yep, same symptoms here. I didn't pinpoint the exact cable, but the workshop confirmed it was the issue. Since it's pointing to a cable problem and the siren is dead, it's likely a broken wire or a loose connection. Probably worth getting it checked by a professional.

Thanks for the help! It was indeed a faulty cable to the siren. Replaced it, and everything is working fine now. Cost me 95€, as predicted by fault detection.

I had a similar issue with my Karoq's alarm system. Was the siren completely dead, or was it just throwing errors? Did you check the alarm controller?
