Skoda Karoq audio system failure

I'm stumped. My 2022 Skoda Karoq (gasoline engine) has suddenly developed a serious audio problem. The whole audio system has gone silent. No radio, no media playback. I've checked all the fuses, and everything seems fine. I suspect it might be a dodgy car speaker, perhaps the bass speaker? Has anyone experienced something similar?

Radio silence huh? I had something similar happen in my Karoq. Have you checked the auxiliary input? Maybe something got plugged in by mistake?

Interesting, the auxiliary input... I haven't actually used it in ages. When yours was playing up, did the volume control still work, or was it completely dead? I've tried everything – radio, media, even Bluetooth audio connectivity – nothing is producing sound.

Yeah, mine was completely dead too. I fiddled with the auxiliary input, but nothing changed. It turned out to be a bigger problem. A workshop is probably the best bet, they'll diagnose it properly.

Just to let you know, you were right about the car speakers! I took it to an audio specialist, and the bass speaker was faulty. It cost 280€ to replace. Everything’s perfect now. Thanks again for your help!
