Skoda Karoq Cruise Control Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Skoda Karoq with a gasoline engine and 169,170 km on the odometer experienced a complete failure of the cruise control system, with an error stored in the vehicle's memory. The initial assessment suggested a defective cable or plug connection as the likely cause. A suggestion was made to check the fuses, but ultimately, the issue was resolved by repairing the defective cable or plug connection, restoring the cruise control functionality.

Thanks for the tip! Which fuse specifically controls the cruise control? And did you also have a dashboard light on?

I don't remember the exact fuse number, unfortunately. And yes, I did have a dashboard light illuminated. If checking the fuses doesn't fix it, it might be the clock spring in the steering wheel or something more complex. Best to get it checked by a professional.

Just wanted to share that I took the Karoq to the workshop. As suspected, it was a defective cable or plug connection. They located the issue, repaired it, and the cruise control is now working perfectly again. The total cost was 95€. Thanks again for your help!

I had a similar cruise control problem in my Karoq a while back. First thing I'd check is the fuses. A blown fuse can cause all sorts of weird issues.
