Skoda Karoq Diesel Transmission Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Skoda Karoq with a diesel engine is experiencing implausible shifting, a transmission indicator light, erratic shifting, and emergency mode activation. The issue might be due to worn transmission oil or undervoltage. A workshop visit is recommended to diagnose and resolve the problem, which in this case was fixed by addressing the undervoltage and replacing the transmission oil.

Slipping transmission is a good way to describe it. Is the transmission oil level normally checked during standard servicing?

Those symptoms sound familiar. A workshop visit solved it for me, maybe you should visit one too.

Thanks for the info. Turns out undervoltage was the problem. Got the oil replaced. Cost: 240€

I had something similar happen with my Skoda. Was the transmission slipping? Did you check the transmission oil level?
