Summary of the thread
A 2021 Skoda Karoq owner experienced multiple issues, including an error message, malfunctioning gear selection display, non-functional cruise control, and intermittent starting problems. Gear selection does show all the time! So, the clutch pedal switch, is that easy to get to? And is it something I could check myself before taking it in?

Yes, that's exactly what mine was doing. The switch is there as a safety switch. It's accessible, but honestly, unless you're comfortable with car electrics, I'd get it checked. Could be a simple fix, but messing with it might cause more problems. My local garage sorted it pretty quickly.

Just picked up the Karoq from the workshop. It was the clutch pedal switch, like you said. They mentioned the cable was faulty. Cost me 95€. Thanks for the advice!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Karoq. The cruise control cutting out was the first sign. Then it started getting fussy about starting. Does the gear selection show on the dash even when you're in neutral? If so, I'd bet it's a dodgy clutch pedal safety switch. It's all part of the safety to prevent car stalling.
