Skoda Karoq Fuel Filler Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Skoda Karoq owner experienced an issue where the fuel filler flap wouldn't open, suspecting an electrical fault, possibly with the electric actuator. This problem also affected other car functions. After consulting with others who had similar experiences, it was confirmed that the electric actuator link had failed, and the issue was resolved by replacing it.

Yeah, there's an error stored in the memory. Did yours also affect other functions of the car? It's weird, but some things aren't working as they should.

Yep, error message plus the door wouldn't budge. Nothing else was affected in my case, but it does sound like a similar electrical fault. Best get it checked out, could be a defective linkage. Probably needs a new electric actuator.

Took it to the workshop and you were right, it was the electric actuator link that had failed. Cost me 210€ to get it sorted. Thanks for your help!

That sounds like a pain. I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane a few years back. The fuel filler door wouldn't open sometimes. Was there an error message?
