Skoda Karoq fuel level sensor issue
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Skoda Karoq with a diesel engine is experiencing issues with the check engine light, stalling at idle, and showing a fuel level sensor fault in the error memory. The problem is likely due to a faulty fuel level sensor located in the fuel tank. The recommended solution is to have the sensor checked and possibly replaced by a professional, as it involves car electronics. The issue was resolved by replacing the faulty sensor at a cost of 52€.

Fuel sensor itself? Where exactly is that located? And how would I even check for damage? I'm pretty good with car electronics usually, but this fuel level sensor thing is new to me.

The fuel level sensor sits in the fuel tank. Honestly, poking around in there without the right tools isn't the best idea. If the dashboard is showing errors and the engine is stalling, a faulty sensor is the most likely culprit. I recommend a workshop visit. It's car electronics after all.

I got it sorted. It was a faulty sensor, like you said. Cost me 52€ to replace. Thanks for your help.

That sounds familiar. I have a Karoq as well. I had a similar issue with the dashboard going haywire and the engine acting up. Did you check the fuel sensor itself? Any obvious signs of damage?
