Skoda Karoq Jerking and Whistling
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Skoda Karoq with approximately 39,673 km was experiencing jerking during acceleration, an engine light warning, a whistling noise, power loss, increased fuel consumption, and occasional stalling. The issue was suspected to be related to the turbo boost sensor, possibly due to a defective cable or plug connection. After a workshop visit, it was confirmed that the cable to the boost sensor was faulty, and replacing it resolved the problem.

Where exactly should I be looking for the sensor and the cables? Is it easy to spot? And yes, the engine light is on constantly.

Yeah, the boost sensor is usually connected directly to the air intake, close to the turbocharger. Have a look at the cable and plug, those are known to be faulty. But honestly, I wouldn't mess with the turbocharger without proper knowledge. A workshop visit is probably a better idea.

Took it to the shop, and you nailed it! The cable to the boost sensor was indeed faulty. A new cable cost 95€, and now she's running like new. Thanks a million!

Sounds familiar! I had similar issues with my Karoq. Check the air intake system and especially the turbo boost sensor. Is the engine light on?
