Skoda Karoq multifunction steering wheel error
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Skoda Karoq is experiencing a multifunction steering wheel error, with the controls being non-functional and the error stored in the memory. The suspected cause is a defective cable connection in the steering wheel. A suggestion was made to check the steering column control module for loose connections. The issue was confirmed to be a defective cable connection, which was subsequently repaired at a workshop.

Thanks for the quick reply. Where exactly is the steering column control module located? And what do you mean by malfunction indicator, is that the same as a sensor issue?

The control module is directly on the steering column, under the steering wheel trim. The malfunction indicator is basically a warning light indicating a general sensor issue. If you're not comfortable taking the steering wheel apart, I'd suggest going to a workshop.

Took it to the workshop. It was a defective cable connection in the steering wheel, like I thought. They fixed it for 95€. Thanks for the help.

Sounds like a connectivity problem. I had something similar with my Karoq. Check the steering column control module, maybe there's a loose connection. Is the malfunction indicator on?
