Error codes are showing a sunblind fault, yeah. Was it a big job to fix on your Octavia?

Yup, pretty much confirms the motor. I wouldn't attempt a DIY repair, honestly. Best to get it sorted at a workshop. The interior accessory needs some dismantling and you don't want to mess with the airbag system when fiddling with car interior parts.

Thanks for the info! I took it to the shop and you were spot on – motor was shot. Got it replaced for 330€, so all good now.

I had a similar issue with my Octavia's sun visor. Sounds like a dead motor to me. Have you checked the error codes?
