Thank you for your insight. Indeed, fault codes were present, implicating both the torque converter and traction control system. The diagnostic report suggests potential issues with the control module. Could you please elaborate on your experience regarding the control module? Did replacement resolve the issue, or were there further complications?

The control module was indeed the culprit in my situation. Once replaced, the limp mode deactivated, and the gearbox functioned normally. However, the root cause traced back to a faulty sensor within the ABS. I would strongly recommend a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation by a qualified Skoda technician. A proper assessment of the fault codes may save you considerable expense. I recommend that you go straight to the workshop.

I extend my sincere gratitude for your shared experience. After a thorough diagnostic process, it appears the fault codes were indeed consequential, stemming from a malfunctioning ABS control module. The Skoda service center addressed the ABS issue, and subsequently, the transfer case limp mode deactivated. Remarkably, the repair was covered under an extended warranty, resulting in no cost to me. Your input was instrumental in guiding the diagnostic direction.

I encountered a remarkably similar predicament with my Skoda Karoq. The symptoms you describe, specifically the gearbox slippage and unclean shifts, resonate strongly with my past experiences. My vehicle also went into limp mode. Have you retrieved any fault codes related to the traction control or torque converter? These modules seem particularly sensitive. I suggest reviewing these systems in detail.
