I checked the fuses, they seem fine. Cruise control is working. Could it still be the wiper switch if the cruise control is ok? Where exactly should I look for the cable or plug connection?

Hmm, if the cruise control works, that does make it less likely to be a complete failure of something in the steering column area, but not impossible. A faulty wiper switch could still be the culprit, or a broken wire between the switch and the wiper motor. Finding the exact cable and plug without proper tools and knowledge is tough. You might be better off taking it to a workshop to avoid causing more damage. The error code points to a wiring issue, which can be tricky to diagnose.

It was a defective cable at the wiper switch. The workshop replaced it, and now everything is working. Cost me 95€ Thanks for your help

Whoa, no wipers is a serious safety issue! First thing I'd check is the fuse for the wiper motor. Have you had a look at that yet? It could be a simple fix before diving deeper into the steering column or the wiper switch itself. Also, does the cruise control work? Sometimes those systems are linked.
