No recent work, I'm pretty careful with car safety. Where was the loose connection on your Kodiaq?

Mine was under the driver's seat. Apparently, it’s a common issue because the connectors aren't the best quality, and moving the seat around can loosen them. Given that, I think it's best you get it checked out by a professional to ensure all components of the restraint system are working correctly. You don't want to risk a faulty airbag sensor during an accident. It's unlikely there's an airbag recall for something like this, but it's always worth checking with Skoda.

Took it to the shop and it was indeed a faulty connector under the seat. They cleaned it up and secured it properly. Bill came to 95€. Thanks for the insight!

I had something similar happen on my Kodiaq. The airbag light came on, and it turned out to be a loose connection to one of the airbag sensors. It's part of the restraint system and needs to be working for proper airbag deployment in an accident. Was there any work recently done on your car? Maybe something that could have disturbed the wiring?
