Skoda Kodiaq Brake Booster Problem

Yes, the brake pedal feels really hard and I have to press it down really hard to actually stop. It's a 2023 Skoda Kodiaq and it's completely stock, no modifications whatsoever. What do you think could have caused this?

Given the hard brake pedal, the error code, and the otherwise unmodified system, your suspicion about the brake system being bled incorrectly seems highly probable. This could definitely impact vehicle safety. I suggest taking it to a trusted workshop for a professional diagnosis and repair. They likely need to replace the sensor and properly bleed the brake system.

The workshop confirmed the suspicion. The brake system hadn't been bled properly, leading to the brake booster pressure sensor failure. The repair cost 90€. Thanks for the help!

A faulty brake booster pressure sensor can seriously impact vehicle safety, so you're right to look into this. When you mention poor braking effect, are you finding the brake pedal feels harder than usual, requiring significantly more force to achieve the same stopping power? Does your Skoda Kodiaq have any modifications to the braking system, like aftermarket brake lines or pads?
