Skoda Kodiaq Check Engine Light and Power Loss
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Skoda Kodiaq is experiencing a check engine light and power loss, suspected to be caused by a defective throttle valve or possibly the accelerator pedal module. The symptoms include rough idling and decreased fuel efficiency, suggesting the vehicle might be in limp mode. After consulting with others who experienced similar issues, it was confirmed that the throttle valve was the problem, which was resolved at a workshop.

Rough idling, yes, and the fuel efficiency has tanked. You mention throttle body, but could it also be the accelerator pedal module?

Yeah, accelerator pedal module is a possibility, but the symptoms really point to the throttle body. Best get it scanned to confirm. I'd wager it's that. Workshop time, I think.

Took the Kodiaq to the workshop. You were spot on, it was the throttle valve. Cost me 265€ all in. Thanks for the help.

Sounds like what happened with my Kodiaq. Check engine light, limp mode, the works. Is the engine idling rough? Could be the throttle body.
