Skoda Kodiaq Diesel Engine Problems

I'm getting super frustrated with my 2018 Skoda Kodiaq diesel! It's got 167362 km on it, and now the engine won't start sometimes, and when it does, it stalls at idle. Plus, the check engine light is on, it runs rough, and I'm burning through more fuel than usual. The error memory says it's the fuel pump. Anyone else had this kind of pump failure?

I had a similar issue with my Kodiaq. Same symptoms: engine stalling, check engine light, the whole shebang. Did you check the error codes? Do you know what code is stored in the memory?

Yeah, I did check the error codes. It's pointing towards the fuel pump. You think it's actually the pump itself, or could it be something else causing the issue? What was the solution when you had this issue?

Given that the error code points to the fuel pump, and you are experiencing those symptoms, it is highly probable that the pump is indeed the issue. However, without a thorough diagnostic, it's challenging to pinpoint the precise cause. I would advise consulting with a qualified auto repair workshop to get a professional diagnosis and solution.

Took it to the workshop as you suggested. Turns out, it was a defective cable/plug connection on the fuel pump, just like the error code said. They fixed it, and the whole repair cost me 95€. Thanks again for the help!
