Skoda Kodiaq Diesel engine stalling problem

Alright, I'm a bit stumped here. My 2017 Skoda Kodiaq diesel has started acting up. The check engine light keeps coming on, and the engine sometimes stalls when I'm idling. I've got around 183674 km on the clock. I suspect it might be related to the fuel tank ventilation system, maybe a leak somewhere? Could this be a defective activated charcoal filter or a system failure? Anyone experienced similar issues?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane. Check engine light and stalling. Could be a purge valve or something related to the fuel tank ventilation. Is your fuel efficiency bad?

Fuel efficiency seems normal to me. Where was the leak detection in your Megane? Was it hard to find?

Mine was also a fuel tank ventilation system leak. I didn't find it myself; a workshop did the leak detection and confirmed it. I would suggest taking it to a shop.

Took my Kodiaq to the shop and they confirmed it was the activated charcoal filter. They said it was causing a fuel tank ventilation system leak. Cost me 275€ to get it sorted, but at least the check engine light is off and it idles properly now. Thanks for the advice!
