Skoda Kodiaq Diesel Radiator Oil Pressure Error
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Skoda Kodiaq diesel displayed a 'Radiator oil pressure defective' error, accompanied by transmission issues, check engine light, and emergency mode activation. The error memory suggested a defective cable or plug connection. Despite no overheating or fluid issues, the problem was traced to a faulty cable/plug connection to the oil cooler, which was resolved without radiator repair.

Oil level is fine, no signs of leaks, and the cooling fan is spinning. Car overheating is not happening. You mentioned 'simple as low fluid' - would that cause the 'Radiator oil pressure defective' error? Seems like a weird connection.

If the levels are ok and no car overheating is happening it's likely an electrical issue like the error code says. A low-fluid situation causing that specific error is like saying a flat tire caused your radio to stop working, it does not add up. If the error code is pointing to a wiring issue I'd take it to a workshop and have them check it out before you do some serious damage.

It was a faulty cable/plug connection to the oil cooler. No radiator repair was needed. Cost me 95€ to sort. Thanks for the input!

Transmission indicator and check engine light on at the same time? Sounds like a bad day. Slipping and grinding? Have you checked the oil level? Is the car overheating or losing coolant? Could be as simple as low fluid, or maybe there is a leak. Is the cooling fan working?
