Skoda Kodiaq massage seat problem
Summary of the thread
The massage seat switch in a 2018 Skoda Kodiaq was not functioning, with diagnostics indicating a defective cable or plug connection. A similar issue was resolved by checking the cable and plug under the seat, which can be challenging to access without proper tools. It was recommended to have a workshop handle the repair to avoid further damage. Ultimately, the problem was fixed by addressing a defective plug connection, restoring the massage function.

Where exactly under the seat? Is it easy to get to, or do I need to dismantle half the luxury car?

It’s a pain to get to without the right tools, you have to partially remove the seat. I’d suggest letting a workshop handle it before you damage the seat motor or something else.

Just wanted to let you know the dealer found a defective plug connection as you suspected. 95€ and the massage setting is working again. Thanks for the tip!

I had a similar issue with my Kodiaq, the massage chair function just died. Check the cable and the plug under the car upholstery. Sometimes they get loose.
