Skoda Kodiaq Power Window Issue

I tried holding the window switch as you described, but it didn't work. Regarding the fuses, do you know which ones are specifically for the windows? The manual isn't very clear on that.

Yes, it definitely sounds like the same kind of issue I had. The fuse box layout can be cryptic. Unfortunately, without knowing the specific fault code, it's hard to pinpoint the exact cause. Re-initialization usually requires diagnostic equipment. While you could try disconnecting the battery again for a longer period (maybe an hour) to see if it resets, honestly, it sounds like a trip to a workshop is inevitable. They'll likely use their diagnostic tool to re-initialize the window regulators. Think of it like a computer losing its settings after a power outage; sometimes it needs a technician to get everything back in order.

Took it to a workshop. They confirmed the regulator needed re-initialization after the battery change. Cost me 290€, but at least the windows work again. Thanks for the input!

Sounds like a common problem after battery replacement. Had something similar happen with my older BMW 3 Series, but the symptoms were slightly different. In my case, the auto up/down function stopped working on all windows. It's like the car forgets where the 'top' and 'bottom' positions are for the windows. Did you try the basic window troubleshooting steps, like holding the window switch down for a few seconds after it's fully down, and then holding it up for a few seconds after it's fully up? Sometimes that resets the system. Also, have you checked all the fuses related to car electronics and power windows?
