Skoda Kodiaq Steering Issue

Having a mare with my 2023 Skoda Kodiaq diesel. Steering's gone all wonky at 32073 km. Feels heavy, almost like the power steering's packed it in, and the wheel's vibrating like mad. Suspect it's the steering angle sensor coding being faulty. Anyone seen this before?

Summary of the thread

A 2023 Skoda Kodiaq diesel experienced steering issues at 32,073 km, with heavy steering and wheel vibrations. The problem was suspected to be a faulty steering angle sensor coding. A similar issue was resolved by recoding the sensor, which was confirmed as the solution for this case as well.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Sounds like a dodgy angle sensor to me. Had similar issues on my Kodiaq. Were you getting any alignment problems or traction control lights?

Yeah, the traction control light was flashing! Alignment seemed off too. What was the fix in your case? Was it just the sensor failure itself?

Yep, sounds identical. Mine ended up being a faulty coded steering angle sensor. I would recommend a diagnostic check at a workshop. It can cause sensor failure.

Spot on, got it sorted. Turns out the angle sensor needed a simple recoding. Cost me 195€ . Cheers for the help!
