Yeah, I did have some coding done recently. I got a guy to tweak a few things. So, you're saying that could actually screw with the vehicle sunroof? The error shows up on the main display, basically says 'sunroof not initialized'. What did you have to do to fix it?

Yes, the coding is the most likely culprit. I had a similar issue, and it turned out the coding had corrupted the sunroof control module's settings, leading to the 'sunroof not initialized' error. 'Coding' refers to modifying the software settings of the vehicle's electronic control units (ECUs) to change their behavior. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop to have them recalibrate the sunroof system. They should be able to reset it to the factory settings.

Fixed it! Took it to a workshop, and they recalibrated the sunroof. Apparently, the coding that was done on the vehicle messed things up. Cost me 75€, but it's working perfectly now. Thanks for the advice!

I've experienced something similar with my Kodiaq. The sunblind getting stuck sounds familiar. Have you recently had any modifications or coding changes done to the vehicle's computer system? Sometimes, even seemingly unrelated changes can affect the sunroof mechanism. When you say 'not initialized error', is that a message displayed on the infotainment screen?
