Skoda Kodiaq System Readiness Issue

I am experiencing an issue with my Skoda Kodiaq, build year 2019, gasoline engine. The system readiness check is incomplete, indicated by an error stored in memory and a message in the speedometer display. This occurred immediately following a routine vehicle inspection utilizing an OBD2 diagnostic tool. Any insights?

System readiness incomplete, huh? Sounds familiar! I had something similar happen with my Kodiaq after a friend used an OBD2 scanner to check for fault codes. Did yours throw any other weird errors? Makes you wonder what those things are really doing...

Indeed. The OBD2 readout seems to have triggered this. You mentioned a similar issue – was your resolution simply clearing the code, or was there more involved?

Yeah, that sounds exactly like what happened to me. Clearing the code temporarily fixed it, but the readiness check kept failing. Eventually, I took it to a workshop and they sorted it out with some kind of computer reset. Honestly, I'd suggest doing the same. Is it worth the headache of trying to sort it yourself?

Resolution confirmed. A computer reset using manufacturer-specific diagnostics cleared the stored error and completed the system readiness check. No cost incurred. Thank you for the insight.
