Skoda Kodiaq Tire Pressure Warning

I have a 2019 Skoda Kodiaq with a gasoline engine and about 147000 km. The tire pressure warning light keeps appearing, saying the pressure is too low. The tires seem fine. There's an error message in the speedometer, and the error memory has something stored about tire pressure. I suspect the TPMS sensor battery is dead. Has anyone else experienced this?

Sounds like a TPMS issue. Something similar happened with my 2016 Opel Astra. I kept getting a tire pressure warning even after checking the tires. Is your pressure gauge acting up?

The pressure gauge seems off. It's showing lower than what I get manually. Was it definitely the sensor in your case?

Yes, it was the sensor. The battery probably died. Those sensors don't last forever. I would get it checked by a workshop to be sure it's not something else causing a flat tire.

Thanks for the help. The shop confirmed it was the TPMS sensor battery. Replacement cost 280€. The warning is gone and the pressure gauge works now. I appreciate the advice.
