Skoda Kodiaq wiper issue

Sounds like a dodgy connection. I had a similar issue with the windshield wipers on my old Opel Astra. Check the wiper motor relay and the fuse first. Also, have you had any work done recently that might have disturbed the wiring? Could be a loose plug somewhere. Does the cruise control work, as the stalk often contains both?

Thanks for the quick response. Where exactly is the wiper motor relay located in the Kodiaq? And yes, the cruise control is also not working. Does this indicate a common point of failure?

If the cruise control is also down, then it's almost certainly the stalk or the wiring leading to it. On the Astra, it was a broken wire in the column. The relay is usually in the fuse box, but the manual should pinpoint it. I'd say take it to a workshop; they'll trace the fault quicker than you will. It's likely a simple fix.

The Skoda workshop confirmed a faulty connection in the wiper switch wiring harness. They replaced the connector and the windshield wipers are functioning normally again. The rain sensor and cruise control are also working fine. Total cost was 95€. Thank you for your assistance!
