Summary of the thread
The audio system in a 2009 Skoda Octavia stopped working, with no sound coming from the speakers. The issue was suspected to be related to a defective bass speaker or Bluetooth connectivity. There wasn't any sound distortion, it just suddenly stopped. Where should I check the audio connectivity? I'm not very tech-savvy with car speakers and Bluetooth.

Yes, in my case it was the bass speaker. Based on your description, a defective speaker is the most probable cause. I would recommend taking it to a workshop for a diagnosis.

Just to let you know, it was a speaker issue, like you said. Replacing the bass speaker cost 280€. The sound system is working again. Thanks for the help!

I had a similar problem with my Octavia's sound system. Was there any sound distortion before it stopped? Have you checked the basic audio connectivity settings?
