Skoda Octavia Damping Adjustment Fault

Has anyone else experienced a damping adjustment fault on their new Skoda? I have a 2023 Octavia hybrid with just over 21000 km. I'm getting an error stored in the memory and a warning light on the speedometer. The ride quality has deteriorated significantly; feels like the damping control isn't working. I suspect a cable or plug issue.

Summary of the thread

A 2023 Skoda Octavia hybrid owner experienced a damping adjustment fault, indicated by a warning light and deteriorated ride quality. The suspected cause was a cable or plug issue. After visiting a workshop, the problem was confirmed to be a defective plug connection to the damping control unit, which was resolved for 95€.

I had a similar suspension issue with my Octavia. Was it impacting your suspension tuning noticeably?

Yes, the ride was noticeably bumpier. Did you also have a warning light? Any idea what the root cause was in your case?

Indeed, warning light as well. Seems like a common suspension issue. I took it to the workshop; they sorted it quickly. I recommend doing the same.

The workshop confirmed a defective plug connection to the damping control unit. Cost 95€ and it's resolved.
