Skoda Octavia diesel cylinder pressure fluctuation
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Skoda Octavia diesel is experiencing cylinder pressure fluctuation, leading to increased fuel consumption and reduced engine power, with the check engine light on. Possible causes include issues with the camshaft, crankshaft, head gasket, or intake manifold. A similar case was resolved by checking the turbocharger hoses for leaks or damage, as a faulty turbo can cause such fluctuations. It is suggested to have the vehicle inspected at a workshop to accurately diagnose and address the issue.

Yes, the turbo was the issue The hose had a small crack The check engine light was on as well I would advise getting it checked out at a workshop They should be able to pinpoint the issue quickly It ended up being a minor fix, costing me 0€
