Did your LED daytime running lights work normally when you had the issue? Was the pump completely dead, or did it make any noise at all?

Yes, the LED daytime running lights were unaffected. The pump was silent, no noise whatsoever. I'd suggest a workshop visit to properly diagnose the electrical connections.

Thanks for the insight. It was a defective cable connection, as suspected. The headlight cleaning system malfunction also disabled the windshield washer system, which was quite perplexing. Repair cost me 165€, including parts and labor. I appreciate the help!

I've experienced a similar issue with my Octavia. Check the hose connections and the pump itself. A malfunction there could definitely cause your symptoms.
