Skoda Octavia Hybrid Blower Failure

My Skoda Octavia, build year 2020, hybrid's fresh air blower has stopped working. Mileage is at 25259 km. The blower motor doesn't work at all, and there's an error stored in the error memory. I'm thinking it's a defective blower motor, any ideas before I start taking things apart?

I appreciate you reaching out. I encountered a similar problem with my Opel Insignia a few years back. The symptoms you described suggest a defective blower motor or potentially an issue with the fan speed controller. Have you inspected the electrical wiring and connections leading to the blower motor? A loose connection or damaged wire could also be the cause.

Thanks for the quick reply! Electrical wiring and connections is a good point. Do you recall what the fix was on your Insignia?

In my case, the blower motor was indeed the issue. Given the error memory storing a fault code, it is highly probable that the blower motor is defective. While it may be possible to diagnose further with a multimeter to verify voltage at the blower motor connector, I would recommend consulting a qualified technician for proper diagnosis and repair.

Turns out the blower motor was indeed faulty. I had it replaced at the workshop for 365€. Everything's working as it should now.
