Completely dead. No response whatsoever when attempting to activate the massage function via the infotainment system. The error memory indicates a fault. Did your BMW also store an error?

Yes, my BMW stored a fault code as well. Sounds like the same issue. I would recommend taking it to a workshop to get the cable checked. It's probably a simple fix.
