Skoda Octavia massage seat malfunction

I have an issue with my 2022 Skoda Octavia, gasoline engine, currently at 62542 km. The massage function on the driver's seat has stopped working. I can't switch on the massage function, and there's an error stored. I think it's a defective cable or plug connection. The repair is estimated at 95€. Any insights?

I had a similar electrical issue with the massage chair in my previous BMW 5 series. Is the massage setting completely dead, or does it flicker at all?

Completely dead. No response whatsoever when attempting to activate the massage function via the infotainment system. The error memory indicates a fault. Did your BMW also store an error?

Yes, my BMW stored a fault code as well. Sounds like the same issue. I would recommend taking it to a workshop to get the cable checked. It's probably a simple fix.

Acknowledged. The Skoda service center confirmed the diagnosis: defective cable to the massage seat. Repair cost was as quoted, 95€. Thank you for your input.
