Skoda Praktik Audio System Failure
Summary of the thread
The Skoda Praktik's audio system failure is linked to a defect in the MOST bus network, as indicated by an error code in the car's diagnostics. The issue involves a faulty control unit within the network, which is a common cause of such problems. The recommended solution is to have a professional diagnose and identify the specific faulty unit, which can then be repaired to restore the audio system's functionality.

Thank you for your response. I checked the fuses, they appear to be fine. The problem started spontaneously, without any prior incidents such as a jump start or radio replacement. Did you find out which control unit was faulty in your case?

In my case, it was also a defective control unit on the MOST bus network. Unfortunately, I do not remember which one exactly. The diagnostics at the workshop pinpointed it. Given your symptoms and the error code, it does sound very similar. I would recommend having a professional check the bus network to identify the faulty unit.

Thank you for confirming. As suggested, I took it to a workshop. The diagnostics indicated a faulty control unit on the MOST bus, as suspected. Repair cost came to around 1000€. At least the audio system is working again.

I had a similar problem with my Praktik. Same symptoms: no audio, navigation dead, and an error code stored. Have you checked the fuses? Also, did the issue start after any specific event, like a jump start or radio replacement?
