I had a similar issue with my Praktik. I would check the speed sensor and the pedal switch first. A blown fuse can also be the culprit. Does the error memory give you any specific codes?

Thanks for the quick reply. Where exactly is the speed sensor located? I'll also check the pedal switch and fuses. Is there a specific fuse number I should be looking for?

The speed sensor is usually near the wheel hub. Unfortunately, I don't remember the specific fuse number. In my case, it turned out to be a defective clock spring in the steering wheel. If you are not comfortable checking those yourself, maybe it's best to take it to a workshop.

I took it to the workshop. The error memory pointed to a defective cable/plug connection. Repair cost me 95€.
