Really? Faulty fuel injectors? I wouldn't have thought of that. Did you also experience the same loss of power and the check engine light? How did you figure out it was the injectors and not something else like a vacuum leak in the intake manifold?

Yes. Identical symptoms, including the check engine light. After eliminating other potential causes, the mechanic pinpointed the fuel injectors. Given your vehicle's mileage and the symptoms you describe, it's probable you're experiencing a similar malfunction. I suggest a visit to a qualified workshop for a diagnosis and, if necessary, replacement of the affected fuel injectors.

Just wanted to let you know, you were right! The shop confirmed it was a faulty fuel injector. Replaced all four, and the engine's running smoothly again. The air-fuel ratio is normal, and the check engine light is off. Cost me 515€, but it's worth it to have my car back in good shape. Thanks for your help!

Reduced engine power and a check engine light on your Skoda Praktik? Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Praktik. Have you checked the fuel injectors? Rough engine running and jerking were the exact symptoms I experienced when one of my injectors went bad.
