Skoda Praktik Engine Overheating and Stalling

I've got a 2010 Skoda Praktik, gasoline engine, about 65000 km on the clock. Recently, the engine's been showing signs of overheating and the error memory is showing a bypass valve malfunction. It's also stalling sometimes, like it's not getting enough air. I'm thinking it could be related to the air intake, but I'm not sure. Could this be related to exhaust system? Any ideas before I start throwing parts at it? This is starting to feel like chasing ghosts in the machine.

I had something similar with my Praktik. Error codes popping up, engine acting weird. Is it only when the engine is hot?

Did you also have the engine overheating issue? And was the air intake affected at all? Trying to figure out if it's the same thing before I start tearing things apart.

Overheating and stalling are definitely symptoms I experienced. I'm no mechanic, so I'd get it checked out by a professional. Could be a simple fix, could be something more sinister. Better safe than sorry.

Just got the Praktik back. The bypass valve error was misleading, it was a consequential error. The real issue was the exhaust system. Warranty covered it, so no cost. Thanks for the heads up, I was starting to sweat!
