Thank you for your reply. The spark plugs were changed recently. How did you solve the problem with your Opel Corsa? Was it also related to the fuel injection?

Yes, in my case with the Opel Corsa, it was indeed the fuel injector. It was causing a rich mixture. Replacing the injector solved the issue. However, I would recommend a proper diagnosis at a workshop before replacing any parts. They can also check for vacuum leaks in the intake manifold, which can cause similar problems.

Thanks for the information. I followed your advice and took the car to a workshop. They confirmed the fuel injector was defective. After replacing it, and cleaning the intake manifold, the car runs smoothly again. The bill was 515€.

Reduced engine power and stalling could point to several things. A rich mixture, perhaps due to faulty fuel injection, can definitely cause those symptoms. The oxygen sensor might also be sending incorrect readings. I had a similar issue with my old Opel Corsa. Has anyone checked the spark plugs?
