Skoda Praktik NOx Sensor Issue

No noticeable performance drop, just the check engine light and the error code about the NOx sensor. The garage mentioned something about a potential exhaust leak as well. When you had the issue with your Renault, was it definitely the nitrogen oxide sensor itself, or could it be something else connected to the pollution control?

With the Scenic, it was tricky to diagnose at first. The error pointed to the nitrogen oxide sensor, but a mechanic told me it could also be a faulty connection. Given that your garage mentioned a possible exhaust leak and a defective cable, I would get it checked at a workshop to be sure. Thanks for the input! Turns out, after a bit of poking around, it was a dodgy connection to the NOx sensor. Bit of a clean and a wiggle, and the check engine light is gone. Passed the exhaust check too, so all good! Cost me 95€ to get the cable replaced by my mechanic.
