Skoda Praktik Power Window Problems
Summary of the thread
The 2007 Skoda Praktik experienced power window failure, with an error stored, leading to concerns about a defective power window switch affecting the window regulator. Initial checks showed no noise from the door and intact fuses, suggesting the issue might not be with the regulator motor. The problem was resolved at a workshop, confirming a faulty power window switch as the cause.

No noise at all. Fuses are fine. Could it really be the window regulator motor itself? Or is it maybe something simpler, like a bad connection or the power window switch?

If there's no noise, and the fuses are okay, it's less likely to be the regulator motor itself. A faulty power window switch is a common culprit. Could also be wiring, but seems like you need to get to the door panel to check the window mechanism properly, unless you are familiar with that I would go to the workshop.

Big thanks for the help! I got it sorted at the workshop. Turns out it was a faulty power window switch as suspected. Cost me around 200€, but at least the window mechanism works again!

Sounds like a classic window regulator motor issue. Is there any noise coming from the door when you try to use the power windows? Have you checked the fuses?
