Skoda Rapid central locking malfunction
Summary of the thread
The central locking system on a 2015 Skoda Rapid malfunctioned, with diagnostics indicating a defective cable or plug connection. Good shout about the fuses, I’ll check those. Where exactly is the fuse for the door locks located? My Rapid does have keyless entry but I only ever use the physical key.

Given the diagnostic result and the symptoms, a defective cable or plug connection is indeed the likely culprit. While checking fuses is a good first step, tracing the specific wiring for the door locks can be tricky without the right tools and knowledge. I suspect you'll need to visit a workshop to get this resolved.

You were spot on with the cable/plug connection. The workshop confirmed it, and the central locking is now working. Cost me 95€. Thanks for the help.

That sounds frustrating. Have you checked the fuse box related to the door locks and central locking system? Sometimes a blown fuse can cause these symptoms. Also, does your Skoda Rapid have keyless entry, and if so, is the key fob working correctly?
