Skoda Rapid Coolant Loss Issue

I'm having trouble with my 2008 Skoda Rapid with a gasoline engine. The coolant level keeps dropping, the check engine light is on, and there's an error stored. Could a bad cable or plug connection be the problem?

I also have a Skoda Rapid, though I don't know the build year. I had a similar coolant issue. Have you checked for visible coolant leaks around the engine or near the reservoir? Is the cooling fan working right?

I checked for visible leaks but found nothing. I'm not sure how to check the cooling fan. Could air pockets in the cooling system be the cause?

Air pockets are possible, but a leak is more likely. Since you see no coolant leak, it's probably not the reservoir itself. My issue was a faulty sensor connection, like the error memory said. I'd suggest a workshop to check the connections and cooling system.

The workshop visit confirmed a defective plug connection was causing the coolant loss. The repair came to 95€.
