Skoda Rapid NOx Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Skoda Rapid with a gasoline engine has a check engine light on, indicating a faulty NOx sensor, and there is also an exhaust leak. The issue could be due to a defective cable or plug connection, which might affect the catalytic converter and pollution control system. A similar case involved a corroded connection to the NOx sensor, suggesting that checking and possibly repairing the plug connection could resolve the problem.

Yes, I checked the cable. Where exactly was the defect in your case? What did you have to do?

In my case, the connection to the NOx sensor was corroded. I suggest taking it to a workshop. They can check the exhaust system and the diesel engine to make sure everything is in good working order.

Thank you for the input. It turned out to be a defective plug connection as suspected. The repair cost around 95€.

I had a similar problem with my Skoda Rapid. The check engine light was also on, and the error memory pointed to the NOx sensor. Did you check the sensor's cable and plug connection?
