Skoda Rapid Windshield Wiper Problem

My 2018 Skoda Rapid with a gasoline engine has a windshield wiper issue at 78027 km. The wipers don't work, and there's an error in the system memory. It looks like a bad cable or plug. I'm thinking it's the wiper switch, but I'd like a second opinion.

I had a similar issue with my Rapid. The wipers just quit. Have you looked at the wiper motor?

Did you get an error code? Was your cruise control messed up too?

Yeah, there was an error code. Cruise control was acting weird too. It might be the stalk itself. I'm no mechanic, though. Maybe get it checked at a shop.

Diagnosis revealed a bad connection at the steering column. The repair set me back 95€, but it's sorted now.
