Skoda Roomster blower not working
Summary of the thread
The Skoda Roomster's fresh air blower was not functioning, with no air coming from the vents regardless of climate control settings. Possible causes included a faulty fan speed controller or a defective blower motor. After a workshop diagnosis, it was confirmed that the blower motor was defective, and replacing it resolved the issue.

Interesting, where is the fan speed controller located, and is it difficult to replace? Also, yes, there is an error stored in the error memory, but it only says that the blower motor is not working.

The fan speed controller is usually near the blower motor, often in the footwell area. If the error memory points to a defective blower motor, and the fan speed controller doesn't show any obvious signs of damage, my gut feeling is the blower motor itself is toast. I'd suggest getting it properly diagnosed at a workshop before throwing parts at it.

Thanks for the clarification. I took it to a workshop, they confirmed the blower motor was defective. New blower motor installed, air conditioning is working fine now. Total cost was 365€.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my Roomster's cabin fan. Check the fan speed controller. Sometimes they go bad and prevent the blower motor from getting power. Any fault codes in the climate control module?
