Skoda Roomster climate control issues
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Skoda Roomster diesel owner experienced issues with the fog sensor, resulting in an error code and non-functional air conditioning. Additionally, the spray nozzles froze last winter, and the mirror heating failed. The suspected cause was a defective cable or plug connection. After consulting with others, it was suggested to check the humidity sensor, which controls multiple systems. The problem was confirmed to be a faulty cable to the humidity sensor, and after repair, the air conditioning was restored, potentially resolving the nozzle freezing issue as well.

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is the humidity sensor located? And did you experience the frozen spray nozzles too?

The humidity sensor is usually near the rearview mirror, behind the plastic housing. Yes, I also had the frozen spray nozzle problem, which was very annoying and impaired visibility. Given all the symptoms, I would lean towards an electrical issue with the sensor or its wiring. Might be best to get it checked out by a workshop.

Took it to the workshop as suggested, and you were spot on. Faulty cable to the humidity sensor. 95€ and now the AC is working, and hopefully, no more frozen washer nozzles. Thanks for the help!

I had a similar issue with my Roomster. Air conditioning wouldn't kick on, and the mirror heating was acting up. Have you checked the humidity sensor? It controls quite a few systems. It might be worth looking into.
