Skoda Roomster fuel flap release issue

I'm losing it with my 2013 Skoda Roomster diesel. The fuel flap release isn't working! I can't even fill up. The key fob doesn't do anything, and the fuel filler door is stuck closed. I'm seeing an error in the error memory. Anyone else experienced this?

Yeah, there's an error stored in the memory. Did yours also mess with other car functions? It's like some features are just unavailable. Seriously frustrating!

Yep, sounds exactly like what happened to me. The error message and other functions going haywire. I messed around with it for ages and got nowhere. Ended up just taking it to a workshop. They sorted it pretty quick, said something about a defective release mechanism. Best bet is to get it checked out.

Took the Roomster to the workshop. It was the release mechanism. The total cost was 210€. Annoying, but at least it's fixed. Thanks for your help!
